SensorWorX is focused on solving complex M2M device and data integration problems at the enterprise level. It is radio, network and protocol agnostic facilitating the development and deployment of new multi-sensor enterprise applications and smart services from existing IT assets, legacy systems and disparate data-sources. Our SensorWorX framework provides tools to assemble customized sensor network applications and easily integrate them with legacy systems at a fraction of the cost and time that would otherwise be required. SensorWorX enables the seamless integration of standard IT technologies, such as Local Area Networks and Web Services, with wireless industrial sensors and related industrial automation equipment, thereby providing truly ubiquitous wireless sensor networks capable of spanning across the corporate enterprise.
On a broad level, the SensorWorX architecture has three main elements: SensorWorX Sensor Modules; SensorWorX Network Infrastructure and Application Appliances; and SensorWorX Enterprise Applications™ client software for device configuration, data visualization, network and alarm management. Applications developed using the SensorWorX architecture can be deployed and scaled in far less time when compared to conventional programming techniques.
