Description:
SYS Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, Inc., is looking for a dynamic instructor for the delivery of formal Network Security Vulnerability Technician (NSVT) training to US Navy personnel at the Center for Information Dominance (CID) Learning Site, Dam Neck, VA.
The NSVT course provides Network Security Administrators with advance knowledge and skills necessary to protect computer networks and systems with focus on the following functional areas: 1) security management of operating systems (e.g. Windows 2003, Unix), routers, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection systems; 2) security configuration of host-based/network vulnerability scanners and session encryption security tools; and 3) security vulnerabilities inherent to networking infrastructure and specific operating systems.
Specific tasks include:
• Provide quality instruction in a formal Navy classroom environment.
• Maintain course curriculum and lab-based exercises current with Navy policy and system configurations.
• Collect, consolidate, and provide student performance metrics.
• Monitor equipment and system performance ensuring availability for training support.
• Maintain site trouble/maintenance logs and related data collection for development of maintenance-based statistics.
• Support installation and routine maintenance of NSVT Technical Training Equipment (TTE) and training system hardware/software.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory and provide related reporting.
• Interface with customer providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) support and technical input to management and other training sites.

Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and familiar with Navy training databases.
Required Experience:
Qualifications and Experience Require
• Navy NEC 9502 (Instructor) or equivalent
• Master Training Specialist (MTS) or 3 years experience conducting formal military training delivery and curriculum development.
• Security+ certified
• Network+ certified (preferred)
• Navy NEC 2780 (preferred)

Senior Test & Evaluation Specialist - Norfolk, VA & San Diego, CA

Description:
The applicant will provide support to an Operational Test Director (OTD) by performing all functions required to plan and execute Operational Tests in accordance with the requirements of the COMOPTEVFORINST 3960 Series and pertinent DoD acquisition directives. Conduct professional T&E review and analysis of requirements documentation for the purpose of developing evaluation methods critical in creating the OT&E Framework that defines the adequate operational testing of the assigned program and for integrating the OT requirements with government developmental testing. Assist the test director in researching and identifying the test resources needed to execute the vignettes identified in the O&E Framework. Provide inputs based on analysis of test data, questionnaires, and data reduction ready for inclusion in OT&E reports and provide follow-on assistance as needed until documents are signed.

• Demonstrate experience with Developmental Testing (DT), Operational Testing and Evaluation (OT&E), or Follow-On Test and Evaluation (FOT&E).
• Demonstrate experience and familiarity with the instructions, procedures and documents required for the Navy and Joint Acquisition process.
• Demonstrate experience in developing test criteria and Test and Evaluation Master Plans in accordance with DoD standards.
• Demonstrate ability to apply analytical methodologies to evaluate the operational effectiveness and suitability of combat systems, weapon systems, and combat support systems.
• Possess a working knowledge of tactical operations, and the mission and role of DoD commands and units tasked to operate in a multi-threat environment.
• Possess U.S. citizenship.
• Demonstrate familiarity with MS-Office software.
Required Experience:
Have a combination of ten (10) years operational experience and/or T&E experience. Recommend to have an undergraduate degree in an Engineering/Science field. Highly Recommend to have an advanced degree in an Engineering/Science field, or, an

The applicant will provide support to an Operational Test Director (OTD) by performing all functions required to plan and execute Operational Tests in accordance with the requirements of the COMOPTEVFORINST 3960 Series and pertinent DoD acquisition directives. Assist the test director in developing test matrices, and planning and building test vignettes. Record and track design and programmatic issues, risks, and shortfalls identified during phases of IOT&E, OT&E, early involvement and other program events involving the operational test events.
